Nice and good fitting boot - This boot is very comfortable and very well made. I have wide feet and often have trouble finding a wide enough boot. This boot was wide enough for my foot without having a really wide calf. I wish the toe was a little less square, but other than that, I love the boot.

Extra wide knee high boots

Finally, (says an over the moon happy Zappos customer!) I have found a boot that comes in double wide width AND zips ALL the way up to my knee!! With 20" calves (those of you with 16 or 17" calves have nothing on her she says!) the size 10.5 WW boots fit her well. It took a little work to get the boots zipped up, but she is sure that once the leather breaks in, this won't be a problem. The leather is soft and is a very stylish chocolate brown with soles providing good traction and a heel height that is good for everyday wear but also looks great. She finds the heel very stable, too. Her only issue is that the foot bed is almost a little bit too wide so she found a little slipping, but this can be easily solved with an insert. Plus, she feels it is a small price to pay for knee high boots that actually zip all the way up.

Daytona boots are constructed of the finest, softest calfskin leather.

What is unique about this boot is that the diameter of the shaft increases with the width and length of the base.

The medium width has approximately a 14 inch shaft, the wide width approximately a 17 inch shaft and the wide wide width approximately a 19 inch shaft.

And if that isn't enough, the boot is gored at the top and also has a size zipper for ease of putting it on and taking it off.
